A PENDING LINGUISTIC PROBLEM – A NEED FOR A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
When man entered this world he did not have any formal education. He himself found out that he had a voice. He also heard the voices of the animals. Since he had something in his mind to communicate automatically he reached for expressions and voice modulations for his voice to communicate a meaning. When he heard a voice for roar, that was meant to be dangerous or attacking. The voice of a bird was pleasant. The voice of eve was adorable. The voice of nature was good. In this way every voice or sound he heard represented a meaning. This is how he would have distinguished voice with meaning.
Similarly, a high pitch voice brings an emotion of fear to the other person. A singing voice is pleasant to hear. A hissing voice is an alert message. A cute voice is adorable. A calm voice is good a harsh unmodulated voice is irritating.
While this is the natural phenomenon, language is also recognized to be local and regional. Although we have universal languages, people communicate only through their local languages. So a foreigner considers it a difficult task to understand and communicate.
Although indications like smiling, crying, courtesy, angry, love, friendliness, enemity, courage, honor, sarcasm, irritation, poverty, richness, can be understood there still has be a universal code of language conduct and behavior.
Basically there can be 3 divisions of tone modulation. They are high, medium and low voices. Each voice represents a mood. Even though a little can be understood on what a person communicated the inner meaning cannot be understood.
There has to be a global language to be communicated for emergencies through body, dress, hand represented and mouth abbreviated language. This has to be taught at school level compulsorily. Afterall ,this is the actual improvement in communication field i,e having a universal language for foreign and local communication .English alphabets can be used for abbreviation communication, thus making every human communicatable.
